Dr. Purnendu Bhushan

Dr. Purnendu Bhushan is a dedicated academician, Mechanical Engineering professional, and educational leader with extensive experience in technical education, academic administration, and industrial training. His academic and professional journey reflects continuous learning, leadership, technical excellence, and a strong commitment toward student development and quality education.

Born in Nalanda district of Bihar, Dr. Bhushan completed his early education under the Bihar School Examination Board (B.S.E.B.). He passed his High School examination from P.L. Sahu High School, Sohsarai, Nalanda in 2004 and completed his Intermediate education from S.P.M. College, Udantpuri, Nalanda in 2007. From the beginning of his academic career, he showed a keen interest in science, technology, and engineering education.

To pursue his passion for engineering, he enrolled in B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at B.M.S. College of Engineering, affiliated with Punjab Technical University, and successfully completed the degree in 2011. During his undergraduate studies, he gained strong knowledge in mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, thermodynamics, machine design, industrial production, and engineering workshop practices.

To further strengthen his technical and academic expertise, Dr. Bhushan completed his M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Swami Vivekanand University in 2015. His postgraduate studies enhanced his understanding of advanced engineering concepts, research methodologies, and modern industrial technologies.

Continuing his academic journey toward higher research and innovation, he earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from OPJS University in 2020. His doctoral research contributed to his professional growth as an academician and strengthened his analytical, technical, and research-oriented approach in engineering education.
